The Deaconess Foundation, established in 1987, is a not-for-profit organization that depends on the generosity of individuals, families,
corporations and foundations to ensure the continued excellence of patient
care, medical research, and education for the member companies of
Deaconess Associations.

Located on the campus of Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, the Heimlich
Institute continues to conduct scientific, cultural and social research
into issues of importance to the medical and scientific community.
